Youth Participation in Reviving of the Deteriorating Kenyan economy

 

The 2030 agenda for sustainable development incorporates 17 sustainable development goals,t

he 2030 agenda identifies the areas in which urgent action needed to ensure sustainable in a country development,among this the employment of youths represents a priority area that is attracting growth attention.

Most youths those in developing countries for instance Kenya are facing social and economic challenges that can be quite serious,and yet youth are regularly excluded from policy decision that affects them.now and have implications of there future.The socialeconomic issues that the youths deal with vary widely and are often deep rooted for example generational inequalities reduce political opportunities for young people,effectively preventing them from using there ideas and energy to address complex issues affection society at large and this can help to boost economy and development of a country.

Youths can also boost development of a country by engaging themselves in business for example entrepreneurship.youths see contributing to a country for national growth as empowering,if social development opportunities can also generate employment and income young people will be more likely to consider youth social entrepreneurship as a viable path.youths may see social enterprise a business model that allows them to contibute to social change and sustainable development.

Youths have also the potential to create a paradigm shift in sustainable development although young people face barries to there own development and inclusion,they are poised to help foster a country in which all persons are included and have equal opportunities.

Steps must be taken to to remove obstacles to youths engagement so that young people have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of a country,the meaningfull participation of young people in reducing inequality can be highly transformational.

Last but not least youths can also help in improvement of a country by getting themselves jobs creation of there own economic opportunities,this improves natinal,economic,productivity,social well_being and political stability.
